"We are on fire to prevent fires at your premises" this is the motto of our fire protection research center in Bad Oldesloe. Even after 100 years we have the ambition of permanent improvement and to give fire protection new impetus.
At our research center we are closely working with test and standardization authorities and develop solutions that are often used as the basis for new fire protection regulations and approval conditions. With natural scale fire tests we practically prove theoretical research results and find solutions for specific client issues.

The research center was taken into operation in 1968 and since then it was permanently adapted to the latest technical knowledge. In 1992 - within the scope of modernization of the complete test field - it was extended into one of the most up-to-date and environmentally friendly fire test centers in Europe. Since 1998 it holds an auditorium for safe and comfortable fire test watching.
