Extinguishing water technology is an indispensable part of preventive fire protection. Water is the no. 1 extinguishant and as drinking water it is also an important resource for our world. Therefore the specific requirements imposed on planning and design of systems, which are directly connected to the drinking water supply, are very high. Minimax extinguishing water systems correspond to valid standards as well as the statutory provisions and guarantee highest possible safety.
After completing all the necessary research, Minimax is now ready to put three of its own products onto the market under the 'maximat' brand name:
maximat MX1 is a compact pressure booster with a steel feed tank. This self-contained fire extinguishing system can be applied individually to meet the local conditions.
maximat FSX-LWT is a filling and draining device which was developed especially for wall-mounted fire hose reel technology. When using this extinguishing system 'wet-dry', the fire extinguishing pipe system is 'dry'. If required, enough fire water can be made available at sufficient pressure for every hose reel system after a maximum of 60 seconds.
maximat DN50 FuE1 is another filling and draining device whose separable valve was also developed especially for wall-mounted fire hose reel technology. When using this fire extinguishing system 'wet-dry', the dry fire extinguishing pipe system is connected directly to the drinking water network via the filling and draining device. If required, enough fire water is available for every hose reel system after a maximum of 60 seconds.
