Water has been used to extinguish fires since the beginning of time, and still occupies a prominent place in fire fighting today. This highly-effective extinguishing solution is also completely harmless for humans, animals and the environment.
The water extinguisher is available with 6 or 9 litres of extinguishing solution. The extinguishing effect of water is generally constituted by its heat bonding properties. The cooling effect of water destroys the thermal reaction requirements and prevents the further conditioning of flammable materials, thus stopping the formation of flammable gases and steam. As a result, water extinguishes fire through cooling.
