 The extinguishing gas carbon dioxide (CO2)
extinguishing without any residues and even usable with sensitive technical
devices is the only extinguishant that can be used in hand fire extinguishers.
CO2 is obtained from the air we breathe and thus it is also very
environmentally friendly in its production.
CO2 uses - in connection with
extinguishing sprays - the suffocation effect in case of liquid fire
classification B substances or fire classification B substances becoming
liquid. CO2 is not electrically conductive. The fire extinguishers
are available with 2 and 5 kg extinguishant.
