We provide the solution for the protection of
kitchens.
Many dishes must
be prepared with a large amount of hot fat, which also bears a high risk of
fire. The main reason for fires in deep fryers, clip frying pans as well as
frying, griddle and grill platforms is the unforeseeable failure of the
overheating protection. The self-ignition of fat occurs already at 350° C
and the fire spreads like lightning.
Our compact extinguishing system KS 2000
already detects the fire in its initial phase and releases the extinguishing
process in a matter of seconds. The extinguishant Febramax was especially
developed for fat fires. It is highly effective, leaves only a small amount of
residues, which can be removed quickly, and is generally recognized as
hygienically safe. Thus, consequential damages and kitchen downtimes can be
reduced to a minimum.
With its wide assembly range from 0.3 to 1.5
meter above the fat surface the KS 2000 additionally guarantees a design scope
unique in the market as well as optimal space for the head below the
nozzles.

For a volume of 50 or more liters
fat the assembly of a stationary extinguishing system is prescribed according
to the BGN regulation. The extinguishant Febramax is approved for fire
classification A and fat fires by the official testing authority for fire
extinguishants and fire extinguishing devices. In addition the KS 2000 has been
approved by the VdS (German Damage Insurers' Association) and was tested by the
trade association for food, beverages and tobacco and recommended for the use
in canteen kitchens and similar facilities. |
