Our fire protection tips.
Fires and explosions in industry and trade do
not only cause the loss of human life and material assets but also an
interruption of production processes or of the service availability. Even if
the horrendous damage sums are compensated by fire and business interruption
insurances, the loss of market presence - sometimes for several months - leads
to irretrievable client losses. The loss of market shares and jobs can even not
be compensated with compensation payments.
Fires and explosions mean a high environmental
impact. The emission of solid, liquid and gaseous harmful substances poisons
soil and air as well as the ground and surface water. A fire in a residential
building already sets free more than 17,000 toxic substances, which cause an
alteration of the environment and are harmful to people!
Thus, fire protection should not be considered
as a tiresome obligation required by law, but as an investment into the
company's future.
